Our Burnt House
During the very cruel war we were sitting at home, and the planes fired two shells in front of our house. We ran away to our uncle’s house, and we found the area more dangerous, so we rushed quickly and walked to our Aunt’s house in the beach camp. Then we went to the UNRWA schools where the suffering and pain started. There the Susi mosque and the Italian tower and Basha tower were bombarded.
There was fear and nervousness in our hearts. Our house was completely burnt and partially destroyed when bombed with artillery shells, and became not fit to live in.
