Nothing excites children like watching animals at a zoo. Children of al-Attaa Library celebrated Eid al-Adha with a trip to al-Namaa Zoo, one of the few zoos in the Gaza Strip. Such a trip was a much-needed experience for those who have rarely seen a live animal before, apart from being a time-pass, a zoo visit can offer many learning benefits; an opportunity to know more about animals’ names and sounds.
There were also many different corners, which are arts and drawing, psychological support through multiple activities, sports and games, and the Palestinian cultural corner. The sheer energy they had is remarkably great, some children expressed how this trip made their whole summer.
