9th IBBY Regional Conference - Add

The 9th IBBY Regional Conference, to be held, October 21-23, 2011 at the Arne Nixon Center for the Study of Children´s Literature, The Henry Madden Library, at California State University, in Fresno, CA, promises to provide a unique opportunity for teachers, librarians, and other readers to experience the world of international children´s and young adult literature.

The theme of the 9th IBBY Regional Conference is "Peace the World Together With Children´s Books," one that captures the spirit of what will happen over the three days of the conference as attendees from diverse areas of the glove come together to read, discuss, share, and revel in books that take us to real and imaginary worlds, offering insight into other people and ways of life.
